3D Formats

| The majority of the 3D models available at extrudeZ are created in Eovia's Carrara® Studio in conjuction with other programs such as Amorphium®, Amapi3D® and Strata 3Dpro®. The geometry is then brought into either Bryce 5® or Poser® and texture mapped in order to create a "native" file for the specific program. Carrara also has the ability to export to: dxf, 3DMF, Wavefront® obj and 3DS files which allows for universal compatibility between various other 3D applications. All precautions are taken to ensure cross platform compatibility in the myriad of 3D applications currently available. If you're having a problem with an extrudeZ model please let us know and we will do what we can to accomodate your specific needs. We are currently beta testing the 3ds max® export module for Carrara and hope to be able to offer .3ds format files soon! |
